1975 – It all began with Charles Fischer, founder of Ace Electric. He came to Montana from Connecticut as job superintendent working for Howard Electric. They were the electrical contractor hired for the new construction of Rimrock Mall in Billings, Montana. He relocated his family to Laurel, Montana in what was supposed to be a temporary move. When his project was complete he made the decision to make Montana their home. It was at this time, he started Ace Electric. In the beginning, Ace Electric was a one-man shop, but for the next 17 years, Charles would build his company committed to hard work, dedication and a tenacity to survive through what would be some very challenging economic times.
1992 – Clay Fischer and Dwight Fischer, Charles’s sons took over management of Ace Electric. They have continued to grow the company through the same principals of hard work, honesty and integrity that their father taught them. They understand that the corner-stone to any successful business is in the dedicated employees that represent it. They also know the value of their loyal customers that have allowed Ace Electric to succeed.
Present – Clay retired June 1, 2017. Dwight continues to manage operations at Ace Electric, developing plans for the future. Travis Tabbert is an integral part of Ace Electric’s future. Travis has been with Ace since 2007 and purchased part ownership in 2015. The Ace management team understands the important role that Ace Electric plays to its employees, its customers and the community it serves. We are committed to continue building lasting relationships with our customers based on respect, integrity and solid performance.
